There are two components of the Administrative Assistant role, communications and office support.
At Fourth Universalist, we want to make it easy for newcomers to visit us, feel comfortable, get connected to the life of the congregation, and make our community their home.
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to facilitation this connection through the many tools of communication. The Administrative Assistant not only creates and distributes information, but shares the spirit of our congregation through the varieties of media we use- our weekly email, printed materials, Sunday orders of service, social media, and our website. The work is vital to sharing our congregation with the wider world, as well as articulating our values, our personality, and our spirit of welcome.
As our congregation has grown, the work of the Administrative Assistant has expanded. We believe the role has real potential for leadership, opening up new avenues of communication and being part of a collaborative team committed to supporting our community. We are eager for this role to be a creative partner in exploring how best to communicate within our congregation and beyond, and would welcome someone curious and excited to learn and grow with us.
