There are two components of the Administrative Assistant role, communications and office support.
The Administrative Assistant supports the smooth functioning of the congregation's office and administration. The role supports the Director of Administration and performs essential tasks including banking, filing, office organization and maintenance, answering the phone, and welcoming visitors during the week. The Administrative Assistant encourages a warm and welcoming office environment for congregational members and other staff, who visit the office for help and support in their work and ministries.
